For the last (nearly) two years we have started an entrepreneurship on costume jewellery where the jewelleries are made by people who are coming to our center Turning Point. After this initiative we have seen their transformation - from being a burden to a jewellery maker, a sales woman or man, keeping the accounts of sale every day. To our utter surprise, now that we have our exhibition at Shopper's Stop - which is managed completely by two women of our center without any direct supervision from our side. We welcome their changed role which decreases the need of medication, reduces the number of medicines, relapses, improves their quality of life. Here is a report of our initiative.
We have also made a documentary on it" Mujhe Rang de" which means bring colours to my life. I want you to see it contact me. We have done the documentary in English. A few interviews are in Bengali with English subtitles so you won't have any difficulty to understand it.
