What's New in Recovery in Psychosis?

Making choises, developing resilience and seeking resolution in complex environment

I was fortunate enough to have been able to attend the ISPS conference in Swanwick in March this year.  I am a care coordinator with a special interest in psycho-dynamic psychotherapy, working within an Early Intervention in Psychosis team in the North East of England and it was a great opportunity for me to meet with other like minded people .   [More]

The conference was well organised in a pleasant setting.  A number of keynote speakers were invited where all produced thought provoking speeches.  [More]

I found the conference good.  It was nice to met new people and share my experiences, also hear other peoples experience of psychosis as I felt I wasn't alone.  [More]

Newsletter

The ISPS UK newsletter was started in September 2001 and all editions are available on this website after an interval of about 6 months.

Email Discussion Group

ISPS UK members are invited to join our e-mail information/discussion group. It is a lively group, which has in excess of 200 subscribers, from users to carers to academics and therapists. It is very multi-disciplinary and it is starting to influence policy. There are usually between 10 and 20 posts per week. Committee

The UK network has an active committee representing a full range of psychological therapies, carers and service users, which meets five times a year. Elections to the committee are held regularly and the ISPS UK acquired charitable status in 2003.
